Jennifer Euler, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Pronouns: She/Her

Jennifer Euler is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing mental health services in Alaska since 2018. Her professional background includes working as a 911 and Critical Care Paramedic (FP-C), teaching in a paramedic program, and practicing as a direct-entry midwife. These experiences have shaped her understanding of the emotional demands of caregiving and her interest in supporting people through times of significant change, stress, and transition.

Jennifer works with a variety of clients, while primarily focusing on perinatal mental health. She has completed the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) training and is working toward certification. Jennifer supports individuals through fertility, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, birth, postpartum adjustment, and the transition into parenthood. She understands that the perinatal period can bring profound changes to identity, relationships, body, expectations, and emotional well-being. She provides support for those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, overwhelm, or struggling to recognize themselves during this significant transition.

Jennifer also has a particular interest in working with first responders, medical professionals, and others in high-stress helping professions. Having worked in emergency medical services herself, she understands some of the unique challenges that can come with being responsible for others while managing exposure to trauma, difficult experiences, high expectations, and the pressure to remain capable and composed. She values creating a therapeutic environment where those who spend much of their lives caring for others can feel validated and supported in prioritizing their own well-being.

Jennifer believes therapy is most effective when it is personalized and collaborative. She strives to understand each person’s experiences, strengths, values, and goals instead of applying a generic approach. Her trauma-informed methods include evidence-based practices like EMDR and Brainspotting when suitable. She also incorporates attachment-informed and relational perspectives, creating a space where clients feel understood and supported.

Jennifer is committed to providing an inclusive, affirming, and welcoming environment for people of all identities, sexualities, backgrounds, and family structures. She recognizes that there is no single way to experience pregnancy, parenthood, relationships, or family. She strives to create a space where clients can bring their whole selves to therapy without judgment, fostering trust and safety essential for healing.

Outside of her clinical work, Jennifer enjoys working in a variety of artistic mediums and dancing. She also enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and continuing to explore the ways creativity and movement can contribute to connection, self-expression, and well-being.
